Are you thinking of joining a course, but are worried about what support you may get? We are able to offer a range of additional support services to meet a variety of individual learning requirements which may include:

· Assessment and advice.
· Dyslexia support.
· Sensory and communications support.
· Mobility and access.
· Exam concessions.
· Loan of specialist equipment. 
· Give training on specialist software.
· Provision of a support worker such as interpreters, readers, note-takers.
· Student Examples

The Additional Learning Support Department holds regular Forums to ask learners their views on support and to welcome any suggestions to improve the service to learners.  If you are interested in helping the department to become an outstanding service please contact us so that we can formally invite you.

As work on the development of Barnsley College’s new build continues the adjacent footpath on Church Street will be closed. The footpath, due to be closed for 8 weeks, will help create a lay-by for construction traffic and enable the access of the delivery of the tower crane. More.
