Progression

Barnsley College has the widest choice of A levels in the area, with the added benefit of also being able to mix vocational subjects into your learning programme. You can pick subjects you enjoy and those which will fit in with your career plans, while widening your skills and knowledge.

A Levels can lead to higher level education at college or university or straight into employment.
You can choose four AS subjects in your first year depending on GCSE grades, which are qualifications in their own right.

You can then continue with three A2 Level subject in your second year, to gain full A Level qualifications.
Key Skills will be included in your learning programme.
