Music students to get new state of the art facilities![]() Music students are set to benefit from world class facilities following the installation of brand new state of the art recording studio equipment. The top class facilities will support learners studying on the BTEC National Diploma and A Level in Music Technology. The new equipment, two Digidesign ProTools C24 recording desks, is currently used by many of the top recording studios in the world. Richard Tolson, Curriculum Quality Leader for Music said: “It is a fantastic investment for music students here at Barnsley College. To learn on top flight equipment means our students will be better prepared for the music business. We have a great track record of students leaving the college to achieve success in all areas of the industry - from chart topping bands to a student who only completed his course in July now working in the studio with X-Factor finalists. The new studios ensure our students can learn on cutting edge technology and that we remain current and true to the industry, so our students get the best possible experience.” Article OptionsThis article has been added to your 'Favorites' list.
