• Understand the basic principles of animal biology
• Maintain animal accommodation 
• Undertake practical animal feeding 
• Animal breeds and grooming
• Principles and practices of animal behaviour and handling 
• Maintain animal health and welfare

What can I do next?

Employment – This course can lead to employment as a Kennel or Cattery Worker, Pet Shop Worker, Dog Groomer and other related roles.

Education – You could progress to higher level qualifications with the College; we offer a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management.
