  • Level 2 Award Follow Health and Safety practices in the workplace or equivalent 
  • Initial assessment of level 1 or above
  • A general interest in Beauty Therapy

What subject areas will I study? 

The programme is a preparation for work course and is based on capability and knowledge. 

The course will include:

  • To prepare for eyelash and eyebrow treatments (tinting, shaping and false lashes)
  • To provide eyelash and eyebrow treatments (tinting, shaping and false lashes)
  • Health and safety
  • Consultation & aftercare advice
  • Science to include skin structure, function, hair structure

What equipment will I need?

Equipment required: 

Headband and hat        

Tweezers/ orangewood sticks             

Uniform 


You will also be required to bring stationery to each lesson such as pens, pencils, A4 paper and folder.


How will I be assessed?

During and at the end of the course you will be assessed both in practical and written. At the end of the programme there will be an online test. Both practical and online assessment must be achieved to gain the qualification.


What qualifications might I achieve?

City Guilds Level 2 Award in eye treatments

This programme is a full cost programme (student financial assistance not available).
