Where, when and how will I study?

You will study at Barnsley College one evening per week (Wednesday), 18.00-21.00, for 15 weeks. The course will commence on Wednesday 5th October 2011.

•    health and safety related to massage treatment
•    Related Science
•    Full body massage
•    G5 Mechanical Massage and Infra-red pre-heat treatment

What equipment will I need?

You will be required to wear a salon uniform and shoes - order forms are available on request.

You will be able to purchase small treatment items if required from Images - our commercial salon on (01226) 216328.

How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed practically to ensure that you are working to national standards.

You will complete written tasks and treatment plans which together will complete your portfolio of evidence.

What qualifications might I achieve?

Level 3 Award 3003-93 Body Massage
