Course Content

This course provides you with knowledge and skills in a variety of treatments plus finance, reception and retailing. You will also learn about the science behind beauty therapy including anatomy, physiology and dermatology, plus more alternative treatments including aromatherapy. Treatments include:

• Skin care and facial
• Make up and manicure
• Waxing
• Eyelash and eyebrow treatments
• Massage treatments including Indian head massage and sports therapy
• Face and body electrical treatments

What can I do next?

Employment - Once fully qualified you can use your skills to work in high street salons, spa complexes, leisure centres, hotels and department stores or even on an ocean liner.

Education - You could progress onto university or higher level qualifications such as Level 3 NVQ in Nail Services.
