What subject areas will I study?
The areas of training are as follows:
• Retail and Promotion
• Health & Safety
• Head and Body Massage
• Indian Head Massage
• Aromatherapy
• Stone Therapy
• Electrical facial massage
(some units may be accredited from NVQ level 2 Beauty Therapy)
What equipment will I need?
You will be required to provide professional salon wear, including suitable footwear. You will also be required to purchase suitable stationery. You will be advised on suitable text books which you can purchase to help you with your studies.
How will I be assessed?
There will be continuous assessment of practical and theory work. Assessment of theory work will be in the form of written tests which are collated along with evidence of practical and oral assessments in a portfolio.

City & Guilds NVQ level 3 Massage
Functional skills
Other qualifications and participation certificates where appropriate
Where can I go from here?
On completion of the programme, you may wish to progress onto Nail Technology or Hairdressing.
