Course Content

This course provides you with the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in relating to early years and childcare workforces. You will study a range of units including:

  • Child and young person development
  • Safeguarding the welfare of children and young people
  • Maintain and support relationships with children and young people
  • Support children and young people’s positive behaviour

What can I do next?

Employment - This course can form the foundations for future study and work in the Childcare profession.

Education - You could continue with higher level qualifications, including the CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People’s Workforce or a Level 3 Extended Award/ Certificate/ Diploma Health and Social Care.
