When and how will I study?
This programme is also available as a day release study option.
Students studying on this programme will normally be required to attend one day per week for nine hours, year 1 Tuesday and Year 2 Wednesday at the Construction site.
What subject areas will I study?
- All students will take five core units
- Health Safety and Welfare
- Construction and the Environment
- Construction Technology and Design#
- Construction Science and Materials
- Analytical Methods
All learners must take the following five specified units:
- Planning Organisation and Control of Resources
- Graphical Detailing
- Surveying Processes
- Building Technology
- Building Surveying
Plus the following specialist units (these may alter subject to demand)
- Measuring Tendering and Estimating Process
- ICT and CAD
What equipment will I need?
You will require Pens, Paper, Drawing equipment, scientific calculator and identified text books
How will I be assessed?
All units are assessed and graded and an overall grade for the qualification awarded

Subsidery Diploma in Construction Level 3

On completion of this programme, you may wish to progress onto Higher National Certificate in Building Studies.
