Course Content
This is a specialist programme where you will learn customer service skills in professional food and beverage service for functions and events, as well as developing practical cooking skills with pastry products, breads and enrich doughs as well as confectionary. The programme allows the possibility for industry visits, residential trips and work placements. You will achieve the following:
- Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Professional Food and Beverage Service
- Level 2 ABC Professional Patisserie and Confectionery Certificate
What can I do next?
Employment - The skills you acquire on this course could lead to a position in specialist food production, for example in a bakery or work as food and beverage personnel.
Education - You could progress to other study options including the Level 3 Diploma in Hospitality, Level 3 Diploma in Hospitality Supervision and Leadership or Level 3 Diploma in Professional Cookery.
