Dance Extended Diploma Level 3

This new course is highly practical and provides an opportunity to develop the skills required to enter the dance industry. It will direct and support you in a range of exciting projects both locally and nationally.  It is vital that you have the relevant experience and commitment to realise your potential as a dancer and work effectively as part of a creative team. You will study:

• Choreography
• Performance
• Contemporary and urban dance
• Jazz dance and ballet 
• Fitness and health for the dancer
• Performing arts business

What can I do next?

Employment – The Extended Diploma will give you the skills and experience to progress onto a range of career paths such as a Dance Teacher, Dance Animateur or Dancer in a company or related entertainment industry such as television, film and theatre work, cruise ships, or the West End.

Education - You could progress onto Higher Education to study and train in dance at university or a specialist institution such as the Northern School of Contemporary Dance.
