Where, When and how will I study?
This course is offered twice yearly (September & January) and will be taught at the Old Mill Lane site of Barnsley College, on Monday’s between 6pm – 8pm for 15 weeks.

What will I study?
The course is aimed primarily at adults wishing to gain confidence and extending their knowledge of digital photography and those who are considering applying for a future adult offer in further and higher education.
The course however is not exclusive for those wishing to progress to higher education but is also for those who simply enjoy the creative freedom of this discipline.
You will be shown over a 15 week period (2 hours a week) a variety of techniques and a basic introduction to digital photography which will enable you to improve and develop your skills in producing digital photographs. This will include an introduction to digital cameras and their functions, aperture settings, shutter speeds and manipulation of images with basic Photoshop techniques.
After completion of the course there may be the opportunity to enrol onto an intermediate course (15 weeks) or a diploma course (1 year minimum).
Programme costs
The course will cost a total of £250 (FULL FEE PAYABLE)
