plus Employed or written offer of employment in electrical engineering

Course Content

This course is designed to give you hands on experience, working in an engineering environment four days a week and studying one day at College to ensure you have the key knowledge and skills to be successful in your role.  You will learn:

  • How to read and interpret drawings, blueprints and electrical code specifications
  • Installing, examining, replacing or repairing electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes and conduits
  • Testing electrical and electronic equipment and components

What can I do next?

Employment - This course can form the foundations for future work as an Electrician and other related roles.

Education - You could continue with higher level qualifications such as an Advanced Apprenticeship.
