This course will include aspects of electrical and electronic principles, organisational efficiency and improvement and health and safety. You will also learn:

• Installation of electrical equipment
• Electrical testing and commissioning
• Building electrical maintenance
• Analogue electronics
• Digital electronics
• Programmable logic controllers (PLCs)

What can I do next?

Employment - This course can form the foundations for future work as an Electrician and other related roles.

Education - You could progress to an Advanced Apprenticeship in Engineering or with some additional units of study you could also take a Higher National Certificate or Diploma, or Foundation Degree courses.
