Course Content

You will study a Level 1 NVQ Certificate in Performing Engineering Operations and a vocational qualification in Engineering and Technology. These will include:

• Health and safety
• Electrical wiring, installation and maintenance
• Electronic components and circuits
• Using and communicating electrical information in engineering
• Computer maintenance
• Maths and Science - we will start at a level which suits you

What can I do next?

Employment - This course can form the foundations for future work as an Electrician and other related roles.

Education - You could continue with higher level qualifications such as a Level 2 Electrical Engineering course or an intermediate programme or possibly onto an Apprenticeship.
