• An introductory course which gives the basic skills to cut men’s hair
• Health and Safety
• Hair growth types and patterns
• Produce a practical cutting guide
• Practical sessions

What equipment will I need?

You will need a pair of clippers and be able to supply models towards the end of the course.

How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed through practical observations

What qualifications might I achieve?

City and Guilds accredited Level 2 Award in cutting men’s hair
(worth 6 credits towards an NVQ)
