Course Content

This course is an introduction to hairdressing; you will be learning the skills required to assist the stylist in their role and carrying out treatments within a commercial salon environment.  You will be working as a team to ensure a smooth salon environment.

This course includes:

  • Health and safety
  • Salon reception duties
  • Shampoo and condition hair
  • Blow-drying 
  • Styling hair

Employment - This course can form the foundations for future work in this industry.

Education - You can progress onto a higher level qualification such as Level 2 NVQ in Hairdressing and Level 2 Diploma in Hairdressing.
