Course Content
You will investigate and study a diverse range of topics relating to the Hospitality and Catering industry including, principles of nutrition contemporary, European and Asian cuisine, and financial control and business enterprise. You will also put this knowledge into practise at a supervisory level through event planning and management, front office operations and marketing. The programme allows the possibility for industry visits, residential trips and work placements. You will also achieve:
- ABC Pastry Chefs and Pâtissiers Certificate
- CIEH Award in Food Safety
- C&G Award in Barista Skills
What can I do next?
Employment - The skills you acquire on this course could provide the foundations for a job as a Hotelier, Front of House Supervisor or Team Leader in areas such as reception, housekeeping and food and beverage.
Education - Alternatively, you could progress into Higher Education to study towards a Higher National Diploma or Degree.
