Course Content

You will learn about computer and information systems, programming and the impact of IT on business systems. You will also discover the more creative side of IT through different elements of design and production. You will gain employability and communication skills plus look at computer systems, organisational system security, human computer interaction and project planning.

  • Website production and web server scripting
  • Developing computer games and computer animation 
  • Digital graphics and interactive media authoring
  • Event driven programing and software design and development
  • Database design and spreadsheet modelling
  • IT technical support, troubleshooting and repair

What can I do next?

Employment - This course can form the foundations for future work as a trainee IT professional.

Education - You could go on to take a Foundation Degree of Honours Degree in a related area gaining further knowledge of the sector.
