Course Content

This programme is offered as an Apprenticeship and involves four days per week working in a vehicle maintenance environment and one day attendance at College.  You will learn trade related skills in the workplace, work towards a Technical Certificate and will gain the associated underpinning knowledge in College. You will learn:

  • Routine vehicle maintenance
  • Removal and replacement of auxiliary electrical units 
  • Removal and replacement of transmission and drive line 
  • Employment rights and responsibilities and health and safety legislation

Employment - This course can form the foundations for future study and work in this industry.

Education - You could progress to a higher level qualification or an Advanced Apprenticeship.
