Course Content

The programme is offered as an Apprenticeship and involves four days per week working in a motor vehicle engineering environment and one day attendance at College.  You will learn trade related skills in the workplace, work towards a Technical Certificate and the associated underpinning knowledge in College. You will learn about:

  • Automotive vehicle workshop practices
  • Inspection of vehicles
  • Diagnose and rectify faults in engines, chassis, electrical units
  • Employment rights and responsibilities and health and safety legislation
