When and how will I study?
It is offered on a day release evening pattern of attendance, over a 1 or 2 year period at approximately 6.5 hours per week

Unit MR 51 Record and maintain information (surface format and condition)
Unit MR 232 Complex in-situ moulding work
Unit MR 233 Restore and conserve solid plasterwork
Unit MR 234 Restore and conserve fibrous plasterwork
Unit MR 235 Granolithic paving work
Unit MR 236 Specialised plasterer’s surfaces
You will also have the opportunity to enter 2 competitions, Skills Build and Further Education Skills Competition (FESCC).
What equipment will I need?
You will need safety boots, writing materials, paper and drawing equipment.
How will I be assessed?
You will be continually assessed throughout the programme, practical work is studied and accredited on a unit basis towards gaining Diploma Level 3 in your chosen craft.

Plastering Diploma Level 3
16 – 18 year olds
Full-time Barnsley College student’s 16-18 years old do not have to pay tuition fees unless the course is listed as FULL FEE PAYABLE.
