5 GCSEs at Grade A* to C including English Language and Maths
or Level 2 Apprenticeship in Plumbing
plus Employed or written offer of employment in construction
plus Successful BPEC assessment
Course Content
The programme is offered as an Apprenticeship and involves four days a week working in a construction environment and one day attendance at College. This course includes:
- Installing systems for hot and cold water, heating sanitation and waste disposal
- Fitting pipe-work to baths, sinks, central heating boilers and water pumps
- Emergency repair work
- Gas unvented hot water
- Hot water regulations
You will complete NVQ Level 3.
What can I do next?
Employment - This course can form the foundations for future work as a Plumber.
Education - You could continue with higher level qualifications. The management element of the course allows successful learners to progress onto a Level 3 management qualification.
