Course Content

Positive Moves is a flexible programme that gives you the opportunity to try different things at Entry Level or Level 1. You will also spend time on placement in a real work environment.

There are nine areas for you to choose from:

• Art and Media
• Business Administration and Retail
• Construction
• Engineering
• Hair and Beauty
• Horticulture and Animal Care
• Hospitality and Catering
• Sport and Recreation
• Information Communication Technology (ICT)

You will then work towards a recognised qualification in one of these areas.  You can also achieve the following qualifications:

• Level 1 Certificate/Diploma in Vocational Studies
• Function Skills in English, ICT and Maths
• Other Level 1 qualifications are available

What can I do next?

Employment- This course is intended to provide students with a range of transferable skills for future employment in several different sectors and industries.

Education- You could continue to work towards higher level qualifications.
