Course Content

You will develop your public services skills and improve your health and fitness ready for entry into the uniformed public services.  You will also look at your career options and employment opportunities.  Examples of course content include:

  • Sport and recreation for the public services
  • Volunteering in public services
  • Outdoor education
  • Event planning

What can I do next?

Employment - This qualification is designed to offer you the opportunity to develop skills, knowledge and understanding that will prepare you for entry into employment at a trainee level within the public services. 

Education - You could continue to work towards higher level qualifications.  With at least a Merit/Distinction profile, you can progress onto the Extended Diploma in Public Services or the NCFE Level 3 Diploma for Entry to Uniformed Services.
