Course Content

You will gain the confidence and practical skills to assist, lead and instruct participants, working four days a week in a sporting and physical activity environment, and studying one day in College.  You will also acquire knowledge of the Sports sector.  You will gain qualifications including:

  • Level 2 City and Guilds NVQ in Activity Leadership
  • Level 2 Award in Employment Awareness in Active Leisure and Learning
  • Level 1 CYQ Award in Fitness and Physical Activity
  • Level 1 or 2 Coaching or Leadership Award

What can I do next?

Employment - You could progress to employment in the Fitness, Health or related Sports industries.

Education - You could continue to work towards higher level qualifications or an Advanced Apprenticeship.
