Entry Requirements
5 GCSEs at Grade A*to C including English Language and Science
or Successful completion of Level 2 Diploma in Sport with a Merit/Distinction profile
plus Good personal reference demonstrating acceptable level of attendance and commitment to hard work
plus Active involvement in participatory sport and general fitness
Students with exceptional sporting ability will be considered for progression studies on an individual basis
All students on this programme will be subject to a satisfactory CRB (Criminal Record Bureau) check

Progression
Employment- Some students choose to enter the Sport, Leisure, Health and/or Fitness sector to commence their careers with a variety of local and regional employers. These might include: Health Promotion/Education Specialist, Leisure Centre Assistant, Leisure Centre Manager, Local Government Community Development Officer, Outdoor Activities Instructor, Parks Officer, Play worker, Sport and Exercise Scientist, Sports Coach, Sports Development Officer, Sports Physiotherapist, Sports Professional, Sports Therapist
Education- Some students progress to popular universities to study sport-related qualifications. Others progress to sport-related employment.
