Entry Requirements
- A degree or HNC/D in a relevant subject (Business or Management) or a BTEC Level 56 Short Course (or equivalent) in a related subject (Business or Management)
- Relevant work experience
More mature applicants will typically have extensive (relevant) work experience and or have professional qualifications in their work sector (see above)
You will be interviewed before you are offered a place. During which you will be asked to provide written evidence of the employer support that you will be receiving throughout the programme.

Every unit and qualification in the framework will have a credit value. The credit value of a unit specifies the number of credits that will be awarded to a learner who has achieved the learning outcomes of the unit.
The credit value of a unit is based on
- One credit = 10 hours of learning time
- Learning time – defined as the time taken by learners on average, to complete the learning outcomes of the unit to the standard determined by the assessment criteria. Learning time should address all learning (including assessment) relevant to the learning outcomes.
When and how will I study?
You will be required to attend weekly (6 hours) for 5 academic weeks. Study methods will include lectures, individual & group work, discussion, problem-solving & case studies.
How will I be assessed?
A range of appropriate assessment methods will be used, examples of which are work related written assignments (typically 5000 words max), presentations (individual & group) and personal reflection. Guidance will be given throughout the programme to assist you.
