Course Content
The programme is offered as an Apprenticeship and involves four days a week working in a construction environment and one day attendance at College. You will learn:
- Erect and dismantle working platforms
- Set out for tiling installation
- Prepare background surfaces
- Position and finish wall and floor tiles to surfaces
- Repair and maintain wall and floor tiling
- Lay screeding for floor tiling
You will complete NVQ Level 2.
What can I do next?
Employment - This course can form the foundations for future work as a Tiler.
Education - You could continue with higher level qualifications or progress to the Advanced Apprenticeship.
