Reason 1

Level 1 and 2 Art and Design students, in collaboration with Addaction, produced a series of alternative alcohol labels to highlight the negative effects of alcohol. These were displayed at the ‘Party hard’ alcohol awareness event, and Addaction want to keep them to display in their reception area.

100% of our students who applied for university secured a place at their chosen institution.

Reason 3

Students who won the prize for the best design and best marketing strategy for the ASOS Live Brief won £50 worth of gift vouchers to use on the ASOS online store.

Reason 4

Fashion students have been invited to design and make outfits that showcase their skills for catwalk shows to support local charities, including Barnsley Hospice.

Reason 5

The creative pathway in Art and Design means that you can start at Level 1 or 2 and then progress to a Level 3 in one of the four specialist areas: Graphic Design, Art and Design, Fashion and Clothing or Digital Photography.
