Existing students
Receiving EMA since 2009/10
If you are an existing student and you first claimed EMA in 2009/2010, you will continue to receive the same payments for each week you are in College until the end of the academic year in 2012.
New students
If you are looking to start a full-time course with us from September 2011 and you meet the eligibility criteria, you may be able access our student support funds or even earn up to £1,000 with our new Earn to Learn scheme.
Guaranteed Bursary
If you are aged 16-18, in care, leaving care or living independently, you could be eligible for a bursary of up to £1,200.
Over 19 Student Support Fund
If your household income is below £20,000 you can get support for travel, equipment, childcare and food.
16-18 Student Support Fund
If your household income is below £20,000 you can get support for travel and essential equipment.
Care to Learn
Free childcare costs for students under the age of 20. There is also limited funding available for those over the age of 20.
Wanted - Students
Reward of up to £1,000*
