We have launched a new podcast series where listeners will discover more about College life and the vast range of courses on offer. Host Faye Bamford, chats with students past and present along with tutors to hear directly from the people in the know.
Episode one explores the various programmes available at Barnsley College such as vocational courses, A Levels, Apprenticeships, Part-time, Higher Education and, from September 2020, new T Level (Technical courses).
In episode two, Faye finds out what life is like at College and what other activities students can get involved in, from the Students’ Union to clubs and societies. You will hear a parent’s perspective on the support available and from students themselves on what they love about College.
In the last episode, Faye looks at life after leaving College. You can find out what opportunities are available and how to make the most out of your qualifications, discover more about Talent United, the College’s employer engagement initiative that aims to bridge the gap between education and employment, and the support available at the Job Shop. You will also hear from a former student about the journey she took after College to carve out a successful career.
