Following the government’s announcement for delaying the opening of colleges, Barnsley College will re-open for students in exam years the week beginning 11 January, with all other students returning week beginning 18 January 2021.
During the first week after the break, from 4 January, we will be preparing our on-site testing for staff and students, with the College only open to vulnerable students and children of key workers who have specific arrangements made with their tutor.
Vocational exams will still go ahead in the first two weeks of January for all learners due to take them, including those who are not vulnerable.
All students are being contacted with regards their return to face-to-face learning for the new term with the priority for on-campus teaching being vulnerable students or students in examination years, as per Government guidance.
More details will be made available on booking a testing slot at the start of the new term.
