Barnsley College is hosting a recruitment event for anyone who may be interested in teaching within the construction department.
The college offers a range of construction courses including plumbing, plastering, bricklaying painting and decorating, as well as construction and the built environment and they are looking to recruit teaching staff in all of these areas.
The construction recruitment event will take place on Tuesday 4 April from 4.00pm to 7.00pm in the Construction Centre (CUBE) at the Honeywell Campus and is aimed at anyone who has construction industry experience who may be interested in moving into a teaching role, anyone that already has previous teaching experience in a construction related subject or anyone who is looking to get into teaching. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet construction staff at the college, find out more about the current teaching vacancies available within the construction department and take a look at the facilities at the Construction Centre. For those who don’t have a teaching qualification they will be able to discuss options of studying for a teaching qualification alongside working at the college.
Kevin Scholey, Head of Construction at Barnsley College, said: “We are looking for staff who are passionate and enthusiastic about construction and who can inspire our students in order to help them progress onto a successful career within the construction industry. The event will be an informal way for visitors to find out more about the construction department and what the college has to offer as an employer.”
Register your interest in attending the event.
