September 2020 This course runs for three years. You will typically study two or three days per week.

Entry requirements

60 UCAS points from:

  • A Levels and/or AS Levels
  • Level 3 BTEC National Diploma at MPP grade
  • BTEC/Edexcel 90 Credit Diploma at Distinction, Merit grade (DM) or equivalent
  • Maths and English at GCSE grade C or 4/5 or equivalent

If you have studied an Access to HE Diploma Business course, this will provide progression onto this BA (Hons) Business and Enterprise course.

IELTS score of 6.0 (minimum 5.5 in all elements) required for international entrants

Applicants with experience of business start-up and/or other/ professional qualifications will be considered. We also offer a Business Access to HE Diploma which provides progression to this course.

Do you want to be your own boss, plan to work in a family business or hope to create a social enterprise? Maybe you are looking for a business based degree that will stand out to employers?

A three year BA programme which develops Business knowledge whilst developing the entrepreneur offers a versatile programme with the benefit of developing the skills required to start a business.

If any of the above applies to you, then the BA (Hons) Business and Enterprise could be the course for you.

Course content

The range of subjects studied will provide you with a broad range of knowledge and experiences to equip you for your chosen career pathway.  The course is ideal for budding entrepreneurs of all ages and backgrounds, who want to start, develop or grow a business and strengthen their personal skills alongside their degree. Course fees: £5,995 per year.

As a Higher Education student living in England you may be eligible for the non-means tested Tuition Fee Loan from the Government. For further details go to:

A Maintenance Loan of up to £6,904 per year will be available to eligible students living with parents or up to £8,200 per year to those living away from home. EU Students cannot apply.

Students with children or dependant adults may qualify for a Childcare Grant or Adult Dependants’ Grant. Students can apply for these at the same time as applying for a Maintenance Loan.

Remember: Eligible students will not have to pay tuition fees in advance and can apply for the Maintenance Loan before they start the course.
