Assessment will occur continually throughout the programme and will involve developing a portfolio of evidence, development in relation to your journey.
This course has various start times throughout the year and will be completed in 36 weeks.
There are no entry requirements for this programme.
The programme aims to provide you with an introduction to the development of a range of skills and new opportunities through engagement with employers and study support. Skills including communication, problem solving, customer services, organisation, time management, Personality and core values and meeting deadlines, may be specific to a chosen career pathway or transferable across a range of careers or further educational courses.
The programme will provide you with further opportunities to establish career pathways, explore other College courses through taster sessions while preparing for your next step.
The programme is offered as a work experience pathway, which requires placement hours (this can be with various employers) and weekly college attendance. The placement will be directly linked to your career aim.

This programme is designed to enable candidates to enter employment within your desired industry, apprenticeship or re-engagement back into College within your new found journey through the skills, behaviours and experiences acquired during this provision.

Having good English and Maths qualifications are important for most careers and we want to give you the help you need to succeed.
If you are aged 16 – 19 and don’t already have a grade C/4 or above in GCSE English and Maths they will automatically be included in your study programme. If you want to work towards higher grades in English and Maths we can help you do that too.
Need a higher level Maths qualification? We offer a Level 3 Mathematical Studies (Core Maths).
