This course starts in January 2022 and runs for two years. You will study for 8 hours per week. Attendance is Mondays from 9.00am until 6.00pm (year one) and Thursdays from 9.00am until 6.00pm (year two).

HNC in Construction and Built Environment. The HNC is a CIOB (The Chartered Institute of Building) recognised course. This course is run in partnership with T3.
The HNC in Construction is the industry recognised Higher Education qualification for trainees and practising building professionals in quantity surveying, building surveying, estimating, project planning, design and site management. The course will help you to develop knowledge and skills in areas such as building measurement and cost studies, environmental building science, building services, construction materials and specifications, as well as sustainability and modern methods of construction.
This course is run in partnership with T3.
This course will develop your qualifications and skills for success in construction management within the built environment. You will cover aspects of construction management and sustainable development principles related to the following modules:
A range of practical and realistic sustainable development projects will be used to develop the skills and knowledge needed for employment and further study. The evidence from the completion and presentation of project tasks will be used for assessment of each unit. Examinations will be used to test knowledge

Progression can be to an HND in Construction and Project Management or a BSc in a construction discipline.
Graduates have gone on to work in construction and project management, quantity surveying, building surveying, site engineering and architectural technology.
Course fees: £2,995 per year.

A Maintenance Loan of up to £6,904 per year will be available to eligible students living with parents or up to £8,200 per year to those living away from home. EU Students cannot apply.
Students with children or dependant adults may qualify for a Childcare Grant or Adult Dependants’ Grant. Students can apply for these at the same time as applying for a Maintenance Loan.
Remember: Eligible students will not have to pay tuition fees in advance and can apply for the Maintenance Loan before they start the course.
