Course overview

Harness the power of design and push yourself or your career to the next level.

Research, testing and problem solving is at the heart of all good design. On this short course, learners will be introduced to the ‘Design Thinking’ process, building thorough and relevant concepts and appreciations of messages and assets and design methodologies and approaches that work for a variety of media outputs.

Learners will aim to work efficiently and produce solutions that not only look beautiful, but satisfy user needs in a smart and considered way. You will also have access to high-end industry software and hardware and real-world case studies/ examples on which to base your project direction and brainstorms.

Course content

Enrol onto our Design Realisation Short Course and we will show you new approaches and techniques for how to begin, develop and complete your super nova ideas.

On this short course you will learn the following key skills:

  • Introducing the brief
  • Research, research, research
  • Idea generation and play
  • Mood-boarding
  • Thumbnails and planning
  • Design experimentation
  • Meeting the deadline
