GCSE English and Maths at grade 5 or above and three other GCSEs at grade 4 or above.
T Level (Technical Qualification) Events and Venues Technician
This course will enable you to develop specific skills, techniques and knowledge that will lead you to employment within the live events industry. You will learn about planning and managing events in a range of venues, technical requirements, including the use of various sound and lighting equipment, stage operations and running live productions and health and safety requirements.
The programme provides an excellent mix between theoretic knowledge and practical skills and has been developed in collaboration with employers and businesses to meet industry needs.

Having good English and Maths qualifications are important for most careers and we want to give you the help you need to succeed.
If you are aged 16 – 19 and don’t already have a grade C/4 or above in GCSE English and Maths they will automatically be included in your study programme. If you want to work towards higher grades in English and Maths we can help you do that too.
Need a higher level Maths qualification? We offer a Level 3 Mathematical Studies (Core Maths).
