Hair and Beauty: Eyelash and Eyebrow Tinting CPD-Accredited Certificate Part-time

The course has various start dates throughout the year. This course runs for one day or two evenings.

Entry requirements

You will need to hold a Level 1 qualification or above. This does not need to be subject specific.

When enrolling, please ensure you request a skin test for eyelash/eyebrow tinting.

You will achieve

A CPD-accredited certificate.

Course overview

This course is a fantastic opportunity for you to extend the services you currently offer, or if you’re a beginner starting to build up your beauty therapy qualifications. By completing this course, you will have an official qualification enabling you to offer Eyelash and Eyebrow Tinting as a service. This course can be studied in one day or across two sessions.

Course content

You will:

  • Learn about Health and Safety
  • Understand the reasons for tinting
  • Learn how tinting works
  • Understand Hair structure theory
  • Develop your skin testing skills
  • Develop your consultation skills
  • Treatment plans and records
  • Develop your practical skills of tinting eyebrows and eyelashes
  • Develop your aftercare advice

You will complete a knowledge check test and a practical observation.

  • Stationery (pens and paper)
  • Uniform or black trousers and top

You will also need to bring a client in the afternoon for the practical exam. The client must also have a skin test 48 hours prior to the day course. The test can be carried out on our Hair and Beauty reception. Please contact the Salon reception on 01226 216 273 to confirm the opening times.

Upon completion, you can offer the tinting as a service. You may also wish to enrol on another programme such as Laminating Brows, Lash Lift or Classic Lashes.

 

How much does the course cost?

Course cost: £100, full fee payable.
