Course overview

 This qualification covers the basic elements of how to deliver an excellent customer experience and will equip you with the necessary skills to work and support customer service delivery.

The following areas that are covered within this qualification:
· Legislation, regulation and procedures to follow in customer service
· Understand how to deal with queries and requests
· Communicate effectively with customers

This Level 1 Certificate will suit you if you have no previous experience but are looking to develop your skills to work in the customer service industry. At this level, you will develop your knowledge and demonstrate your customer service skills.

Course content

This course consists of several units:

  • Creating a good impression to customers
  • Applying legislation, regulation and organisational procedures for customer service
  • Dealing with queries and requests
  • Recording and communicating customer problems
  • Working in customer service
  • Answer telephone calls from customers
  • Positive communication with customers
  • Contribute to effective customer service
  • The customer service experience

This course will be assessed through a portfolio of evidence.

The full cost of the course is £724. Funding is available and those claiming benefits or on a low wage can complete the course for free – eligibility criteria apply.
