How much does the course cost?

This course costs £1295. The cost of the course includes text books, registration fees and exam costs. Please note, if you require an exam resit this will come at an additional cost of £89 per exam.

If the course is listed as 'full fee payable', you will have to pay for the course.

Course Content

There are no formal entry requirements for this course. Please note there will be a requirement to complete an initial assessment in English. This is to ensure you have a suitable standard of English language in order to understand and articulate the concepts contained in the syllabus.

You will complete one open book online exam and one practical assessment. The dates are set by the awarding organisation.

The text books that you will need to complete the course will be provided by the department.

Certificate

On achievement of your National General Certificate, you will be eligible to apply for IOSH Technical professional membership. You could also continue your professional development by studying another part-time course.

Having good English and Maths qualifications are important for most careers and we want to give you the help you need to succeed.

If you are aged 16 - 19 and don't hold a grade C/4 or above in GCSE English and Maths, you will automatically be included in your study programme. If you want to work towards achieving a higher grade in English and Maths, we can help you do that too and we offer Level 3 Mathematical Studies (Core Maths) which can be added to your study programme.

If you're aged 19 or above and don't hold a grade C/4 or above in GCSE English and Maths we can help. We offer FREE English and Maths qualifications that can be studied on a part-time basis, subject to eligibility.
