In line with the Government’s recent announcement on COVID-19 testing in educational institutions, Barnsley College has begun planning for on-site testing to take place in August-September 2021.
The testing facility will be made available for all new and returning FE and HE students to take two tests on-site, before testing at home twice weekly.
Each student should obtain a negative on-site test results before beginning face-to-face activities in College. Apprentices and staff should continue twice weekly home testing.
New students who have applied to the College will receive a test time in their enrolment information.
New students who have not yet applied can contact the College to enrol. Returning students will receive information about booking their tests from their departments.
