We are holding an Engineering Opportunities Day for anyone who is interested in a career in engineering on Wednesday 2 August from 12.30pm to 4.30pm at the Science Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) centre on Old Mill Lane.

You will have the opportunity to find out more about the wide range of apprenticeships, full-time and part-time programmes that are available in engineering subjects such as automotive technologies, electrical and mechanical engineering, electrical installation and welding.

The event is open to anyone who has an interest in engineering and you will be able to chat to tutors, see the facilities at the STEM centre and find out about the funding options available to you.

Roger Gillespie, Programme Manager for Engineering at the college, said: “Whether you want to start a career in engineering, learn new skills or want to enhance your current skills, this is an opportunity to find out what we can do to help you achieve it.”

Register your attendance online.
