Talent United Masterclass: Looking after your wellbeing during the pandemic | Global Entrepreneurship Week

About the event

Looking after your wellbeing during the pandemic

A FREE virtual masterclass hosted online by Talent United

Join us online on Monday 16 November, 9.30am – 11.30am.

For many people the pandemic has stirred up worry, anxiety, stress or feelings of being overwhelmed. We all cope differently with challenges and there is no ‘right way’ when it comes to dealing with changes to our usual way of life.

The most common issues affecting wellbeing were highlighted in a survey by The Health Foundation which found that, during the pandemic, people have been generally worried about the future, feeling stressed, anxious or bored.

The Mental Health Foundation has also undertaken research into the impact of COVID-19 on our wellbeing in the UK, and reported that over a third of people in full-time work were concerned about losing their job. The negative impact of local curfews and social isolation have also been stark, particularly for people living alone or those who have been shielding.

This webinar will provide wellbeing insights and practical solutions including:

  • Tips for looking after your emotional wellbeing
  • Coping strategies that you can adopt
  • The responsibilities of your employer
  • How to spot mental illness in others
  • Where to seek advice and support
