If your desire is to inspire people to reach their potential or to teach your favourite subject, Barnsley College has the perfect course for you!
Starting in January, Barnsley College is offering a part-time Level 3 Award in Education and Training and a Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training aimed at those wanting to teach in post 16 education.
The courses are suitable for those who have no teaching experience and would like to become an Associate Teacher, allowing you to work in further and post-compulsory education. You will be able to apply the theory you learn in a practical setting, either in your workplace or on a work placement in an appropriate educational institution.
Rachel Davison, Teaching and Learning Course Leader at Barnsley College, said: “Our courses will enable you to appreciate the application of your skills in the Lifelong Learning Sector. The part-time pathways will allow you to follow a flexible study programme to suit your individual needs.”
