“I am delighted to see the Prime Minister’s announcement that recognises the work colleges do for their local communities. The focus on adult learning has in previous years been absent. Obviously we need to see the list of qualifications and ensure that social mobility remains at the heart of any provision. We are looking forward to the SMEs and levy paying business flexibilities around apprenticeships and the lifetime skills guarantee developments.”
