HE LRC Intro: RFP

Although we are a college library, we don’t just focus on academia. We also want to support you with Reading for Pleasure!  The Reading For Pleasure tile is your online gateway to the LRC’s latest reading suggestions, library competitions and other book related announcements so be sure to connect with it regularly.

The more things you read the more things you know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go! - Dr Seuss

We want to promote the importance of reading for your health and well being.  Not only can books broaden your mind, but they can be very therapeutic, giving you an escape to somewhere else for a while, even if only within your own head.

“Reading is to the mind, what exercise is to the body”

Joseph Addison

The LRC Reading Tree

This digital tree will be regularly updated to reflect the latest display in the LRC.  You can use it to directly access the titles on the catalogue and reserve your copy before it gets snapped up.

Have you browsed our fiction and reading for pleasure shelves?  Are there any titles we’ve missed? It would be great to hear your suggestions and recommendations. Feel free to email us with your thoughts or even a review of any titles that you’ve read so we can share the love of reading with other students.
