It’s not too late to study a Business course this September

We have a limited number of places still available on our Business related courses starting in September 2020.

The courses can be studied either full-time, part-time, as an apprenticeship or on a distance learning basis, meaning students can study around their existing work and family commitments.

John Green, Head of Department for Business, Warehousing and Logistics, said: “Business is a fantastic subject to study as it allows students to gain a breadth of knowledge that can help them progress their careers in a number of sectors.

“With such a wide range of courses available, whether you’re wanting to continue your education after competing your GCSEs or you’re an adult looking to gain a higher level qualification, we’re sure to have a course for you.

“We have a small number of places available for courses starting in September and I look forward to welcoming new and returning students to the department over the coming weeks. All students can be assured that we will follow government guidelines for class sizes and social distancing measures, and we will continue to utilise ‘blended learning’ with students receiving a mixture of online delivery and practical, on-site taught sessions.”

Tara Butters, a Level 4 Professional Accounting / Taxation Apprentice, added: “I chose to study at the College because it is rated outstanding by Ofsted and it has great learning facilities. I’d recommend studying this course as I find it very structured, the tutors are friendly and it’s a great place to learn.”

Rated outstanding by Ofsted, the College offers a range of Business related courses from Level 1 to Degree level, including AAT Accountancy and Bookkeeping; Access to Higher Education; Assessing; Business Administration; Business; Business and Enterprise; Customer Service; Information, Advice and Guidance; Leadership and Management; Libraries, Archives, Records and Information Services; Mentoring and Team Leading.
